Explanation

  • A situation is win-win (adjective) if it's good for all the people or organizations involved.

    The noun form is also win-win.
  • 形容詞の win-win は、ある状況が、関係するすべての人や組織にとって好都合である、という意味です。

    名詞形も win-win で、そのような状況のことをさします。

  1. I'm certain they'll agree to the merger. It's clearly a win-win proposition for both of our companies.
  2. (an employee making a proposal)
    Making a smoke-free workplace would be a win-win situation for the company and staff. We'd pay less to provide the same medical benefits, and I believe the majority of employees would be more comfortable.
