It's good to see you again!
Today's expression speaks of give-and-take and the art of compromise!
TRADE-OFF トレードオフ、折り合い
- A trade-off is a situation in which you accept something you don't want in order to get something you do want.
- trade-off とは、望むものを得るために、望まないものを受け入れる状況をさします。
- More and more successful companies are proving that there does not have to be a trade-off between higher profits and environmentally conscious business practices.
- With the increased threat of terrorism, many people consider some loss of individual freedom a reasonable trade-off for security.
- To a greater or lesser degree, every working parent has to make a trade-off between success at work and time with their children.
As always, it's been a pleasure!
