Explanation

  • The performance of an investment is the rate of return on that investment over a period of time.

    To say that an investment “performs well” or “performs poorly” means that the rate of return is good or poor, respectively.
  • 投資に関して performance と言うと、一定期間における投資の収益率、つまり、成果、という意味になります。

    投資について、perform well または perform poorly と言うと、それぞれ、収益率が高い、または低い、という意味になります。
