Welcome, to a rather unusual week of WordMaster@Work! We took Monday off for the holiday, of course, and after bringing you two new editions today and tomorrow, we'll break for another holiday on Thursday. Then the WordMaster Challenge on Friday.

Explanation

  • To be behind schedule is to be late.

    To be ahead of schedule is to be early.

    To be on schedule is to be neither late nor early.
  • behind schedule は、予定より遅い、という意味です。

    ahead of schedule は、予定より早い、という意味です。

    on schedule は、遅くも早くもない、つまり、予定通りに、という意味です。
