COMPETENT 能力のある
- A competent person has the skills and knowledge necessary to do something to a certain standard.
The noun form is competence. - competent とは、ある特定の水準で何かをするのに必要な技術や知識を持っている、つまり、能力のある、という意味です。
名詞形は competence で、能力、という意味です。
