Explanation

  • To shave is to cut hair off your face or body with a blade (either a razor or electric shaver).

    Be Careful! We usually just say shave instead of “shave your face.”
  • shave は、顔や体の毛を刃(かみそりや電気シェーバーなど)で剃る、という意味です。

    注意:「ひげを剃る」と言いたい時には、ふつう shave my face ではなく、単に shave と言います。
