Explanation

  • To censor is to examine a book, movie, etc. in order to remove parts that are considered dangerous or improper.

    The noun form is censorship.
  • censor とは、本や映画などの中身を調べて、危険である、または不適切であると思われる箇所を削除する、という意味です。

    名詞形は censorship で、検閲、という意味です。
