HOW'S (THIS/THAT)? これでどうですか。
- How's this? or How's that? can be used to ask if someone likes, is satisfied with, or agrees to something.
- How's this?、または How's that? は、相手が気に入ったか、満足したか、同意したか、などをたずねるときに使える表現です。
- (putting some music on)
a: How's this?
b: It's nice. - a: How's this? If you help me with my English, I'll help you with your Japanese.
b: It's a deal! - (after putting another pillow under a sick child's head)
How's that? Are you comfortable now? - a: Would you mind turning down the air-conditioning? It's a little cold in here.
b: Not at all. (after turning it down) How's that?
a: Much better. Thank you.
