SAVE TIME 時間を節約する
- To save time is to do something in a way that takes less time.
- save time は、より時間をかけない方法で何かをする、つまり、時間を節約する、という意味です。
- The Internet is a great way to save time when you need information fast.
- (in the middle of rush hour traffic)
I think we can save some time if we get off the highway and take the city streets. - This machine was supposed to save us time at work, but now the boss just expects us to do twice as much!
- CUSTOMER: I've been waiting twenty minutes for my number to be called!
BANK TELLER: I'm sorry, sir. But you could have saved yourself some time by using the ATM.
There are nearly 3000 minutes in a two-day weekend. Use them well!
