Like yesterday's edition, today's WordMaster speaks of quality and confidence - good traits for any business to aspire to!

Today's LessonCATEGORY: 間違いやすいボキャブラリー

  • A warranty is a written guarantee to a customer, promising to repair or replace a product if it becomes defective during a particular period of time.

Be Careful! We do NOT use warranty as a verb, like the word “guarantee”.

  1. We stand behind this product with a full one-year warranty and will repair or replace it at no charge if it breaks down for any reason.
  2. (salesperson to customer)
You may want to spend a little more for the other brand. It comes with a better warranty.
  3. The standard warranty covers the dishwasher for three years. Or you can purchase an extended warranty for coverage up to five years.
  4. a: Was it expensive to have your TV repaired?
b: Not at all! It was still under warranty, so they did it for free!
