HAVE TIME   (~する)時間がある

Explanation

  • To have time is to have a period available in which to do something.
  • have time とは、何かをするために使える時間がある、という意味です。

examples

  1. Do you have time to play catch later, Dad?
  2. a: Are you going away during Golden Week?
    b: No, the office has never been busier. I don't have time to go on vacation.
  3. (a busy working mother)
    Who has time to cook from scratch these days?
  4. a: When do you think you'll be able to look over the report?
