PARK (a car) 駐車する
- To park a car or other vehicle is to leave it somewhere for a period of time.
- park は、車やその他の乗り物をどこかにしばらくの間停めておく、つまり、駐車する、という意味です。
- (customer to restaurant hostess)
a: Is it alright to park my car in the street?
b: No, they'll tow it away if you do. - (hotel guest to front desk clerk)
a: Where can I park?
b: Just leave the keys in the vehicle. Our valet will park it for you. - (in front of an airport terminal)
You can't park here. This area is for loading and unloading only. - A red sports car was parked in front of the bank when the robbery took place.
