We wrap up our Earth Day series today on the eve of the day itself. Today's WordMaster is believed by many to be the most serious of all the problems our planet faces. Can you guess why?

Today's Lesson
(OVER)POPULATION

  • The population of a country, city, etc. is all the people living there. It is also the number of people living there.

Overpopulation is when there are too many people for the amount of land, water, and other resources in an area.

    b: Around 12 million.
  3. China has the largest population in the world.
  4. a: Did you know that the population of Japan actually got smaller last year?
