Hi!

When you're in love and about to see that special person again, sometimes just stepping out the front door can feel like stepping into a dream! So what are you doing sitting at home when you could be out dancing and romancing?!

Today's LessonCATEGORY:
(GO/EAT/ASK) OUT

Explanation

  • Out can mean away from home for a social event. So to go out can mean to go to a movie, dinner, bowling, a party, etc., and to eat out means to eat at a restaurant.

To say that two people go out can also mean that they have a romantic relationship, and to ask out someone is to ask them to go on a date with you.
