One of the most important tasks of a manager is to provide employees with useful feedback. And, as any employee knows, positive feedback is always more welcome than the other kind!

Explanation

  • To praise someone or something is to say that they have qualities that are very good or that something they have done is very good.

    Praise (n.) is the act of praising someone or something.
  • praise は、人や物に対して、資質・品質が非常に良い、成し遂げた事柄がすばらしい、などと言って褒める、という意味です。

    名詞の praise は、人や物を褒める行為のことです。

  1. The judges praised the Nobel Prize winner for his important contributions to science.
  2. The movie was praised by critics and was a huge success at the box office.
  3. Because I have so much respect for my boss, a few words of praise from her can really keep me motivated.
