Explanation

  • A good way to invite someone to a party is by asking:
  • Would you like to come to our party?
    Of course, Would you like to...? can be used for other kinds of invitations as well. (See below for examples.)
    Here are some common ways to accept or decline an invitation:
    WAYS TO SAY 'YES':
    I'd love to!
    That would be great/nice.
    WAYS TO SAY 'NO':
    I'm sorry, but... (formal)
    I'd like to, but I'm afraid (I can't).
    Thanks, but...
  • 誰かをパーティーへ招待する際は、以下のようにたずねましょう:

    Would you like to come to our party?
    私達のパーティーにいらっしゃいませんか?
    もちろん、Would you like to...?という表現は、他のことに対する招待にも使うことができます。下のExamplesを参照してください。

    以下は招待を受けるときや断るときの一般的な方法です:

    「はい」と言うとき 
     I'd love to!  喜んで!
    That would be great/nice.  それはいいですね。

    「いいえ」と言うとき
