Hello!

It's the middle of the week, and it's time to look at those magical middle years of school!

Today's LessonCATEGORY:
JUNIOR HIGH (SCHOOL) / (SENIOR) HIGH SCHOOL

Explanation

  • Junior high school - also called junior high - is the school that students enter after finishing a 6-year grade school.

High school - also called senior high school or just senior high - is the school that students enter after finishing junior high school.

Be Careful! In the United States, some students go to an 8-year grade school then immediately enter a 4-year high school. Such students do NOT go to a junior high school.
