Our week on the “iron horse” is coming to an end, Hopefully the next time you see a tourist in a train station holding a map and scratching his head, you'll offer to help. Remember, just start with “Do you need some help?”, and you'll do fine!
TICKET GATE 改札口
- The ticket gate is the part of a train or subway station where machines or station personnel check passengers' tickets as they enter or leave.
- ticket gate は電車や地下鉄の駅構内にある、出入りする乗客の切符を機械や駅員が確かめる場所、つまり、改札口のことです。
- I'll meet you at the ticket gate at 7:30.
- a: Do you need some help?
b: Yes. Can you tell me how to get to the ticket gate? - Almost all of the subway stations have automatic ticket gates now.
Ready for the weekend? Then we declare it officially begun!
