What do these two tools have in common? Let's take a closer look!

Today's Lesson
RUBBER BAND / ERASER

Explanation

  • A rubber band is a small ring of thin rubber used to hold things together.

An eraser is a small piece of rubber (or sometimes plastic) used to remove pencil marks from paper.

Be Careful! The Japanese word ゴム for 'rubber' comes from the Dutch language, not English.
