Shall we dance?

Today's LessonCATEGORY: Japanese English
BALLROOM DANCING

Explanation

  • Ballroom dancing  is a style of dancing for couples, with fixed steps and movements. It is danced to music such as waltzes and tangos.

    Be careful:
We do not usually use the expression "social dancing" like the Japanese 社交ダンス to mean ballroom dancing.  Ballroom dancing  is only one kind of social dancing.
