To graduate from a school is to complete courses and other necessary work and receive a degree.
(Be careful: You graduate FROM a school. We do NOT say, "graduate a school".)
graduateは、学校で所定のコースや必要な勉強を終えて、その証書をもらうこと、つまり卒業するという意味です。
注意： You graduate FROM a school.（学校を卒業する）とは言いますが、graduate a schoolとは言いません。
